Spanish Mustangs or Colonial Spanish Horses are alive and well
on the Elkins' Ranch, located west of Albuquerque, New Mexico,
on Mount Taylor. This pristine, secluded ranch is surrounded by historic Pueblos
and Spanish Land Grants.
Mount Taylor Mustangs is committed to preserving and managing
these living legends for future generations. Our horses are
available for sale from the early spring through the fall. Many
of these horses are young and willing to learn. All of
these sturdy Spanish horses are mountain bred and raised, so
they are sure-footed and make excellent endurance or performance
horse prospects.
